TWO QUESTIONS CAN MAKE All THE DIFFERENCE!

To provide the highest quality of care to our service members, veterans, and their families we must first identify them

Ask The Questions: To Better Serve Orange County Veterans

WHAT is the ASK THE QUESTIONS Campaign?

The Ask the Questions campaign is an initiative aimed at recruiting ALL services, facilities, organizations, providers, and the like, to Ask:

1. “Have you or a family member ever served in the military?” So that anyone who has ever served in the military (regardless of their discharge status, era or age) and their family members can be identified and connected to services.

2. “Do you have any children?” So that children of anyone who has served in the military can get connected to specific services for them. Children of veterans are a highly under served population.

WHO should we Ask?

Everyone! Men, Women, Children, the Elderly, those with disabilities, everyone! Even if you have been serving or treating the person for a long time, it is never too late to ask. You may be surprised at how many people say “Yes!” Let them know that you have recently learned that this information can sometimes be important to the delivery of your care or service, therefore you have made a commitment to ask
